Poaching and land reclamation have decimated the vast herds of wild animals that once roamed the African plains. While it is difficult to control the population explosion and mans ever increasing need for land, we as the custodians of this planet have to control the slaughter of our wildlife.

Unknowingly and unwittingly foreign tourist are responsible in a small way for poaching - supply and demand dictates that if there was no demand for wild animal products, the animals would not be killed. If you are visiting Africa always be aware of the origins of the products that you are buying from curio shops.

Earth Africa Curio does not trade in the following animal products:

1.     Elephant hide, ivory, tail, feet, hair.
2.     Rhino horn or products.
3.     Wild animal skins or horns.

Cow Products.
Earth Africa Curio encourages the use of all cow bi-products including hides, horns, bone and hoof. This is a sustainable resource and is often the only form of income for African Villagers in their effort to stave off hunger and poverty.
